Ask it like this
"Invoice Maria for the boiler service, 180."
Ask Bevr to invoice a customer and it drafts the invoice. Draft, send, and track invoices without leaving the conversation.
"Send it to Maria."
Say "send it" and your customer gets an email with a secure link to pay by card or bank transfer, no account and no login. Taking those payments needs a one-time Stripe setup on your side.
"Maria paid 180 by check, number 1042."
Bevr records it against the invoice and settles the invoice when it is covered.

What you are owed, invoice by invoice, with what has been paid already taken off.
From the work, and from a quote
Bill finished work in one step: for jobs you mark billable, Bevr drafts an invoice from the hours logged and the costs marked to recharge, and nothing goes out until you send it. Accepted quotes can raise a deposit invoice and turn line items into scheduled work, so a deposit goes out up front and the rest follows the job.
Recurring services, like a monthly clean: Bevr adds a job for each date and, if the service has a price, raises the invoice ahead of time. You review and send each one.
Getting paid
Say “send it” and your customer gets an email with a secure link to pay by card or bank transfer, no account and no login. Taking those payments needs a one-time Stripe setup on your side. Record cash, checks, bank transfers and card payments with the date the money arrived, and the check number is kept so you can match it to your bank statement.
Commercial customers pay on a statement, not an invoice, so you can send a whole balance in one document. For the ladder of reminders that chases a late invoice, read how to get paid faster rather than a repeat of it here.
Questions
How do I send an invoice?
Ask Bevr to draft one, then send it when it reads right. You see it before it goes.
How do customers pay online?
From a secure link in the email, by card or bank transfer, with no account. Taking those payments needs a one-time Stripe setup; without it the invoice goes out as a manual one with your payment details instead.
Can I take a deposit or bill in stages?
Yes. An accepted quote can raise a deposit invoice up front, and a recurring service raises its invoice ahead of each date for you to send.
How do I record a cash or check payment?
Tell Bevr who paid, how much, and the check number. It keeps the check number so you can match it to your bank statement.
What about reminders and statements?
Commercial customers can get a whole balance on one statement. For the ladder of reminders that chases a late invoice, see getting paid.
