Extra usage and your spending limit
Each plan includes its AI credits and texts every month, and anything beyond them is billed per use. Extra AI credits are 8 cents each and extra texts are 2 cents each, on every plan.
The account owner sets a monthly spending limit for extra usage, and usage stops at that limit, so there are no surprise bills.
Voice minutes are not sold as extra usage. When a month’s minutes are used up you can keep typing, and voice is available again the next month.
What is an AI credit?
A credit is how Bevr counts the work its assistant does for you. A simple task, like adding a customer or changing a phone number, uses about one credit. Questions that need more thought and jobs that take several steps use more. The assistant reloads your workspace on the first request after an hour or more away, and after your workspace changes, for example a new field, a saved memory or a summary of a long conversation. That request can use 2 to 3 credits more. Bevr shows how many credits each request used, so you can see where they went.
Measured on a small workspace: adding a customer used about 1 credit, asking what a customer owes about 1.6, and creating an invoice about 2.4. The average request used about 1.7, so 400 credits cover about 235 requests a month, 1,500 about 880 and 3,000 about 1,750. A long question about a large workspace uses more.
Questions
Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No. You give us an email, a password and your business name, and the trial starts. We do not ask for a card, we do not store one, and there is nothing to cancel — when the 14 days are up, Bevr simply pauses until you decide to subscribe.
What does the free trial include?
The 14-day free trial includes 200 AI credits, 50 texts and 10 minutes of voice transcription. The trial includes Partners, for sending work to your subs and other businesses. The trial includes Crews, where the owner leads every crew.
What happens after the free trial?
After your 14-day trial, plans start at $59 a month, and you are only charged once you choose to subscribe — nothing happens automatically. Until then, editing and the assistant pause, and your data stays available to view, search and export. Billing is handled securely through Stripe. You can subscribe at any time, including during the trial. Your plan starts and is charged that day, and the days left in the trial end. Partners comes with Team, Small Business and Enterprise, not with Solo, so choosing Solo switches it off. While a work order is still open, Bevr asks you to finish or cancel it first. Crews comes with Small Business and Enterprise, not with Solo or Team, so choosing Solo or Team switches it off. Everything you set up in it is kept.
What happens if I use more than my plan includes?
Extra AI credits are 8 cents each and extra texts are 2 cents each, on every plan. The account owner sets a monthly spending limit for extra usage, and usage stops at that limit, so there are no surprise bills.
What is the spending limit when I start?
Zero, so there is no extra usage until you choose it. When a month’s credits or texts run out, those wait for the next month. On a paid plan the account owner can set a limit of up to $1,000 each billing period.
How much can I store?
Documents and files: 1 GB on Solo and during the trial, 5 GB on Team, 10 GB on Small Business and 25 GB on Enterprise. A single file can be up to 25 MB.
What counts as a text?
We count the whole message as it is sent, not only your words. Every text starts with your business name and ends with a short closing line. Your first text to a number, and some later ones, also include "Reply STOP to opt out." Up to 160 characters is one text. A longer message is sent in parts of up to 153 characters, and each part counts as one text against your plan's monthly allowance. Some symbols count as two characters, and an emoji or a character outside the standard text alphabet lowers the limits to 70 and 67.
Is there an annual plan?
No. Every plan is billed monthly through Stripe, and you can cancel at any time. Extra usage, if you have any, is charged at the rates above, up to your spending limit.
Can I cancel and take my data with me?
Yes. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep your plan until then, and partial months are not refunded, except where required by law or at our discretion, for example a duplicate charge or a billing error. You can export your customers, jobs, and invoices to CSV whenever you want. Your data stays yours.
Can I use Bevr with my accountant?
Two ways, and both are included on every plan. Invite them as a read-only Viewer and it costs nothing — the bookkeeper seat is free and does not count as one of your users, so this works on Solo as well as the larger plans. They see what they need and cannot change anything. And the export includes files shaped for QuickBooks Online and Xero, the payments to apply against those invoices, and aged receivables reports — so your books end up matching reality rather than overstating what you are owed.
Does Bevr track what my customers owe me?
Yes. Ask what is outstanding and Bevr gives you a calculated figure: every invoice, minus anything already paid, with drafts and settled invoices excluded, aged from current through 91+ days past due and broken down by customer. It emails you when a payment arrives, and the same numbers appear in your export for your accountant.
Do you support teams?
Yes. Team is $149 a month for up to 5 users, Small Business is $299 a month for up to 10, and Enterprise is $499 a month for the first 10 users plus $29 a month for each additional user. Every plan with more than one user adds shared skills and role-based access. Start a free trial, then subscribe to the plan that fits from inside the app.
Do the subcontractors I work with have to pay?
No. Invite a sub by email and it gets a free partner account of its own, with the work orders you send it, messages, documents, a schedule of its work and invoicing. To send you an invoice it can set up Stripe, which charges its own fees, or send a manual invoice without it; Bevr adds no fee to what you pay it. If it wants the rest of Bevr later, it can start a free trial from the same account. Sending them work takes Partners, which comes with Team, Small Business and Enterprise, and with the free trial.
Can my subcontractors see my customers?
Only what you choose to share, on each work order. The job's address goes to the sub unless you untick it; access notes and files only if you add them; and your customer's name, phone and email only if you choose to share them. You can also let a sub email your customer through Bevr without seeing their email address, and you see the replies too. Your other customers, jobs and invoices stay in your own workspace.
